The Southern Sierra Chapter, NECA was chartered in 1963, and today represents 85 electrical contractors with an elected Board of Directors and a full-time professional staff.  The Southern Sierras Chapter, NECA is dedicated to enhancing our local industry through continuing education, industry and legislative updates, promotional activities, and the maintenance of sound labor relations with our partners, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). We are the voice of the electrical contracting industry, working to promote higher standards, quality workmanship and training for a skilled workforce.

The Southern Sierras Chapter, NECA represents the interests of all electrical contracting firms who are signatory to collective bargaining agreements with IBEW Local Union #440 (Riverside County) and IBEW Local Union #477 (San Bernardino, Inyo, and Mono Counties).
